Fidelity Bank Ghana has announced the GreenTech Innovation Challenge (GTIC) 2024, an initiative designed to support young entrepreneurs in developing innovative solutions for the agricultural sector. Under the Fidelity Young Entrepreneurs Initiative, the bank is offering over GH¢1 million in grant funding to empower startups and early-stage businesses addressing critical challenges in Ghana's agricultural value chain.

The GTIC 2024 aims to bridge the gap between youth and agriculture by providing a platform for young entrepreneurs to launch or scale their GreenTech solutions. The program seeks to promote sustainable agriculture practices, improve productivity, and enhance the overall efficiency of the agricultural sector.

Nana Yaa Afriyie Ofori-Koree, Head of Partnerships, Sustainability, and CSR at Fidelity Bank Ghana noted the bank's commitment to supporting Ghana's agricultural development through innovation. "We believe that young entrepreneurs play a vital role in shaping the future of agriculture, and we are dedicated to providing them with the necessary support to succeed," she said.

The GTIC 2024 is open to young entrepreneurs aged 18-35 with innovative ideas or existing solutions that address specific challenges in the agricultural value chain.

Fidelity Bank Ghana's GreenTech Innovation Challenge has the potential to drive growth, create jobs, and promote sustainable agriculture practices in Ghana. By supporting young entrepreneurs, the bank is investing in the future of agriculture and contributing to the country's economic development.
