In a
move to transmute the insurance sector in Ghana, OLEA Insurance is leveraging
digital tools to provide seamless services to its clients. This innovative
approach is made possible through MTN Ghana's SMEs month initiative, which
champions the use of digital solutions for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises
(SMEs) in the country.
According
to Stephen Kwarteng Yeboah, Managing Director of OLEA Insurance, "We
have a platform that enables us to get in touch with hospitals and sell
policies to them. We're also partnering with tech firms to sell retail products
online and developing a TPA health insurance scheme for companies to
participate in. Our goal is to provide convenient and accessible services to
our clients, and digital solutions are key to achieving this goal."
By
adopting digital solutions, OLEA Insurance aims to enhance customer experience,
increase efficiency, and reduce costs. The firm is committed to providing
tailored packages for SMEs and supporting them with the necessary technical
support to buy the right policies.
"As brokers, we are able to explain things to SMEs very well,
get them policies that they can actually claim. We understand that standard
policies may not be suitable for SMEs, so we're offering customized packages to
meet their needs," Mr. Yeboah
explained.
MTN's SMEs month initiative has played a significant role in supporting
OLEA Insurance's digital transformation journey. The initiative provides SMEs
with the necessary tools and resources to adopt digital solutions, promoting
their growth and competitiveness.
OLEA
Insurance's embrace of digital solutions marks a new era for the insurance
sector in Ghana. The firm's innovative approach is expected to inspire other
industry players to follow suit, driving the sector's growth and development.
"We believe that our partnership with MTN Ghana will enable
us to reach more SMEs and provide them with the necessary support to grow their
businesses," he said.
With
this partnership, OLEA Insurance is poised to revolutionize the insurance
sector in Ghana, making it easier for SMEs to access insurance services and
protect their businesses.
