Safaricom and Dahabshiil unveil partnership to transform international money transfers

Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia PLC and Dahabshiil, a leading
international money transfer company, have announced a strategic partnership
that will enable M-PESA customers to receive money from around the world
through Dahabshiil's extensive network.
This partnership is expected to transform mobile money services,
providing customers with a convenient, affordable, and hassle-free way to
receive international money transfers. With the rise of mobile money, customers
can now transact from anywhere, without the need to visit a Forex bureau to exchange
currency.
The partnership combines Safaricom's innovative M-PESA platform with
Dahabshiil's global money transfer expertise, creating a powerful solution for
customers. This collaboration will expand the reach of M-PESA, enabling
customers to receive money from over 200 countries and territories worldwide.
