Liquid Intelligent Technologies discusses AI with industry experts

Liquid Intelligent Technologie, East Africa has held a roundtable discussion that explored the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The event brought together industry experts and thought leaders to discuss the potential of AI to revolutionize various sectors, including the Internet of Things (IoT), and the importance of AI security.

Leading the discussion, the Head of Technology - AI at Liquid, Dr. Prince Abudu highlighted the potential of AI to transform how we interact with technology across diverse industries.

"AI has the potential to revolutionize how we operate and interact with technology, but it's important to understand the distinction between simply adopting AI and becoming a true 'AI organization'," Dr. Abudu said.

Naom Kerubo, Solutions Manager at Liquid, discussed the role of AI in the IoT, highlighting its ability to transform vast amounts of data into actionable insights. "AI has the potential to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance user experiences in the IoT," Kerubo said.

Richard Muthua, Executive Head of Cloud and Cyber Security - EAR at Liquid, also emphasized the importance of AI security. "Security is not an afterthought, but a fundamental pillar of responsible AI development and deployment," Muthua said. "Prioritizing security ensures AI is used ethically, responsibly, and for societal benefit, while safeguarding systems from potential attacks."
