A
massive IT outage is wreaking havoc on industries worldwide, causing chaos for
air travelers, broadcasters, banks, and healthcare providers. The global tech
failure has resulted in flight delays, cancellations, and check-in problems,
leaving passengers stranded and frustrated.
According
to aviation data from Cirium, around 4,295 flights globally, or 3.9% of all
scheduled services, have been cancelled so far today. While the IT outage has
caused some flights to be cancelled, this figure also includes those cancelled
for other reasons.
However,
amidst the chaos, one airline stands tall - Ethiopian Airlines. Africa's
leading carrier has announced that it is not experiencing any disruptions to
its IT systems and flight operations, thanks to its robust infrastructure and
vigilant monitoring.
While
other airlines are grounding flights and struggling to cope with the outage,
Ethiopian Airlines is flying high, literally. The airline's commitment to
reliability and customer service has earned it a reputation as one of the most
dependable carriers in the world.
"We are not currently experiencing any disruptions to our IT
systems at our headquarters or any impact on our flight operations," Ethiopian Airlines said in a statement. "We are vigilantly
monitoring for any potential impacts at all our stations globally and will
continue to update our customers accordingly."
As
the world struggles to come to terms with the global tech outage, Ethiopian
Airlines is flying the flag for Africa, demonstrating the continent's
resilience and capability in the face of adversity. The airline's dedication to
excellence and customer satisfaction has made it a beacon of hope for
passengers seeking reliable and efficient air travel.
