The
2024 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Networks and Computer
Communications (ETNCC) at the Namibia University of Science and Technology
(NUST) has brought together over 200 participants from 23 countries to foster
collaboration and innovation in high-performance computing and network
communications.
In
its fourth year, the conference has become a key platform for presenting
papers, networking, publishing, and discovering the latest advancements in the
field. The event's core focus is on proposing new technologies, sharing
experiences, and discussing future solutions for designing wired and wireless
networks, high-performance computing, and emerging technologies like artificial
intelligence, edge computing, and blockchain.
The
conference features a comprehensive agenda, including a workshop with
presentations by five notable experts, a Distinguished Speaker Session with
five eminent speakers from around the world, and discussions on the
intersection of advanced computing technologies and their applications in
real-world scenarios.
Industry
leaders like Dr. Licky Erastus, Managing Director of MTC, stressed the dynamic
nature of networks and computer communications and the challenges they present,
highlighting the need for national and international partnerships and
collaboration.

2024 serves as a crucial platform for re-imagining the role of technology in
industry and society, showcasing technological advancements and calling for
action to build stronger, more resilient digital infrastructures that support
sustainable development and prosperity for all.
