The Prime Minister
of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed has launched a new state-of-the-art Science Museum in
Addis Ababa. The prestigious inauguration ceremony which was graced by senior
government officials presents an immersive exploration across five key
scientific domains.

Visitors can
engage with groundbreaking displays on artificial intelligence, climate
resilience strategies, agricultural innovations, sustainable water and energy
solutions, and advancements in aeronautics. The AI section curated by the
Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute particularly stands out, offering
visitors a window into how Ethiopia is applying cutting-edge technology to
transform critical sectors.

What makes this
exhibition truly remarkable are its interactive elements that bring science to
life. Guests can experience a robotic barista serving coffee, interact with
conversational AI systems, and test a smart city bicycle simulator. These
hands-on exhibits demonstrate Ethiopia's practical applications of AI while
making complex technologies accessible to all ages. The displays thoughtfully
trace the nation's AI evolution from early initiatives to current projects
shaping Ethiopia's digital future.
Beyond
showcasing achievements, the museum serves as an educational hub designed to
