President Ruto launches Matuga Technical and Vocational College and digital hub to boost digital job opportunities

Dr. William Samoei Ruto of Kenya has launched the Matuga Technical and
Vocational College and a Digital Hub at the College in Kwale County, marking a
significant milestone in Kenya's digital journey. This initiative is part of
the government's efforts to enhance digital job management and create organized
and efficient Digital Job opportunities.
The
launch according to officials signifies the government's commitment to
leveraging technology to drive economic growth and social development. The
Digital Hub, one of 10 already adopted by private sector companies, will serve
as a critical channel for better Digital Job coordination.
The
Ministry of Information, Communications & The Digital Economy, State
Department for ICT & Digital Economy, and Konza Technopolis Technopolis are
working together to encourage digital platform owners to use specific channels
for improved Digital Job coordination.
According
to the government, this collaboration is vital for creating a vibrant digital
economy and ensuring that Kenyans have access to organized and efficient
Digital Job opportunities.
