The
African Telecommunications Union (ATU) has commenced the 1st Africa Preparatory
Meeting for the World Radiocommunication Conference 2027 (WRC-27) in Maseru,
Lesotho. The meeting brings together ICT leaders from across Africa to
formulate and coordinate common African proposals, strategies, and action plans
for the WRC-27.
The
next few days will see participants working together to develop African
proposals for the WRC-27, coordinating strategies and action plans, and
implementing elements of the ATU Strategic Plan related to radiocommunications.
The ATU is committed to ensuring that Africa's interests are effectively
represented at the WRC-27.
By
working together, African nations can ensure that their voices are heard and
their interests are protected at the WRC-27, shaping the future of
radiocommunications and ICT development on the continent.
