Safaricom Ethiopia CEO embarks on market visit to Hawassa region

CEO of Safaricom Ethiopia, Wim Vanhelleputte has embarked on a market visit to the Hawassa region, where he evaluated market activities and engaged with regional officials, staff, and customers.

During his visit, Vanhelleputte met with Tesema Dima, Chief Advisor to the President of the Sidama National and Regional Government, and officials from the Hawassa City Mayor's Office, including Deputy Mayor Mihretu Gebre and Chief Advisor to the Mayor.

He also interacted with Safaricom Ethiopia's regional staff, distributors, and sales team, who serve customers in the area. This engagement allowed him to gain insights into market dynamics and customer needs.

Reaffirming Safaricom Ethiopia's commitment to expanding network coverage, Mr. Vanhelleputte indicated the company's dedication to improving connectivity across the region.

By engaging with regional officials and stakeholders, Safaricom Ethiopia aims to strengthen partnerships and explore opportunities for mutual benefit.
