Airtel
Kenya has announced an exciting new campaign, "GB kwa GB", aimed at
empowering Kenyans to join the digital revolution by offering free data to
customers who upgrade to smartphones or join the Airtel network with a new
smartphone. This innovative campaign seeks to bridge the digital divide and
support the digital inclusion agenda in the country.
Under
the "GB kwa GB" offer, customers will receive 1GB of free data every
week for six months when they make the switch. To be eligible, customers need
to top up a minimum of Ksh 50 weekly, making the offer accessible and
affordable to a broad range of users.
Airtel
Kenya's Managing Director, Ashish Malhotra said the company is committed to
empowering more Kenyans to participate in the growing digital economy. He
highlighted that Airtel's investment in cutting-edge network technology is only
meaningful if it reaches every Kenyan.
The
campaign was also attended by Airtel Kenya's Marketing Director, Prisca Murigu,
who reiterated the company's dedication to supporting digital inclusion and
promoting digital literacy across the country.
This
move by Airtel Kenya is expected to have a significant impact on the country's
