MTN
Eswatini CEO, Wandile Mtshali, has met with members of the media to brief them
on the company's Ambition 2025 strategy and its expected impact on Eswatini's
economic landscape. The meeting aimed to foster positive and transparent
relations with the media and provide insight into MTN's key business
initiatives.
During
the briefing, Mtshali reiterated MTN's commitment to providing Emaswati with
the benefits of a modern connected life and economic expansion, and highlighted
the company's intent to drive economic growth and development in the region
through its Ambition 2025 strategy.
The
CEO also discussed MTN's efforts to combat Mobile Money Scams and measures
taken to manage and address the rate of mobile data depletion. Additionally, he
provided updates on the state of LTE Coverage and the 5G Case for Eswatini.
Furthermore,
Mtshali shared details on MTN's corporate social responsibility initiatives,
including the 30 days of Y'ello Care 2024 program and the company's
sponsorships of MTN Bushfire and the Premier League.
