The
Ecobank Fintech Challenge is an annual innovation competition organized by
Ecobank, a leading pan-African banking group. The challenge aims to identify
and support innovative fintech solutions that can transform Africa's financial
landscape.
Launched
in 2017, the Ecobank Fintech Challenge provides a platform for fintech
companies to showcase their solutions, connect with industry experts, and
access Ecobank's vast customer base and network. The challenge focuses on
solutions that can improve financial inclusion, enhance payment systems, and
advance digital banking, among other areas.
Each
year, the challenge attracts hundreds of applications from fintech companies
across Africa and beyond. A panel of industry experts selects the top
finalists, who then compete for prizes, including funding, mentorship, and
partnership opportunities with Ecobank.
