Kenya’s ICT
Authority, led by CEO Stanley Kamanguya and the management team, has
successfully completed a 4-day inspection and project handover of the East
Africa Regional Transport, Trade and Development Facilitation Program
(EARTTDFP). This landmark initiative aims to enhance connectivity and
facilitate trade between Kenya and South Sudan.

installing public WiFi in markets along the corridor. CEO Stanley Kamanguya
confirmed the project's successful completion, highlighting its potential to
boost access to online services in the region.
Funded by the
Government of Kenya and the World Bank, the EARTTDFP is a significant step
forward in enhancing the movement of people, goods, and services between Kenya
and South Sudan.
The fiber optic
network, which began construction in July 2020, is now fully operational and
plans are underway to expand coverage to more remote areas. This regional
project is set to have a profound impact on the economic growth and development
of the region.
