Secretary, Ministry of Information, Communications and The Digital Economy, Margaret
Nyambura Ndung'u, has officially opened the International Telecommunications
Week (ITW) Africa and Datacloud Africa 2024 conference in Nairobi.
The event,
hosted by Techoraco, brought together global leaders in the telecommunications
industry to discuss key themes and showcase innovations driving the future of
global communications.
The conference
provides a platform for networking opportunities with global industry experts
and features discussions on future networks, data center evolution, and digital
infrastructure development. In attendance were industry leaders, including
Techoraco CEO Rose Irving, ICT Authority CEO Stanley Kamanguya, and ITW
Managing Director Annabel Helm.
The official
opening of ITW Africa and Datacloud 2024 marks a significant milestone in
Kenya's journey to become a leading digital hub in Africa. The event is
expected to foster partnerships, drive innovation, and shape the future of
global communications.
