The inaugural
National Conference on ICT in Education is expected kick off on November
10-11, 2024, under the theme "Unlocking the capacity of ICTs for
inclusion, closing the digital and gender divide, and capacity building in
Education."
The event was
formally inaugurated by Vice President for Service Cluster, His Excellency
Hussain Adelbagi, and attended by esteemed ministers, representatives from
various mobile network operators, including MTN South Sudan CEO Monzer Ali.

is proud to be a sponsor of this conference, in collaboration with partners
such as UNESCO, the Ministry of General Education and Instruction, and the
Ministry of Information, Communication Technology, and Postal Services. The
conference aims to bridge the gap between educational institutions and
technology, providing cutting-edge digital tools that align with the United
Nations' Sustainable Development Goal of enhancing the quality of education (UN
SDG 4).
The event
focuses on unlocking the potential of ICTs to promote inclusion, close the
digital and gender divide, and build capacity in education. With MTN South
Sudan's commitment to bridging the gap between education and technology, the
conference is expected to achieve a more inclusive and equitable education
system in South Sudan.
