Airtel Zambia engages with government to address telecom sector challenges

Airtel Networks Zambia Plc Board Chair, Ms. Monica Musonda, has led a delegation to meet with Minister of Technology and Science, Hon. Felix Mutati. The courtesy call aimed to discuss pressing issues affecting the telecommunications sector.

Ms. Musonda was accompanied by Airtel's Managing Director, Hussam Baday, Company Secretary Sonia Shamwana-Chinganya, Head of Regulatory Mutumwa Lubasi Muyangana, and Project Manager Chipo Chilala.

Minister Mutati welcomed the discussion, emphasizing the importance of such meetings in gaining diverse perspectives on the sector. Director of Planning and Information, Victor Kachabe, joined Minister Mutati during the talks.

The meeting is believed to show Airtel Zambia's commitment to collaborate with the government to address industry challenges and promote growth.
