GreenTech Hub in Kenya has launched a call for applications for its Energy
Accelerator Programme, seeking visionary GreenTech entrepreneurs to transform
Africa's energy landscape. This initiative aims to address the continent's
severe energy crisis, promoting sustainable and equitable growth.
The Energy
Accelerator Programme focuses on renewable energy technologies, providing
technical support, mentorship, access to funding, and advocacy to green
enterprises. Startups with innovative solutions in energy access,
digitalization, energy efficiency, low-carbon technology, and sustainable
mobility are encouraged to apply.
To be eligible,
applicants must be African nationals with registered startups operating in
Africa, have a minimum of three years of operation, and possess
technology-enabled solutions addressing development challenges. Additionally,
applicants must have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with existing corporate
governance systems.
Successful
applicants will benefit from mentorship from industry experts, access to
technical experts, regulatory sandbox, and blended financing options. They will
also have networking opportunities with partners, collaborators, and investors,
as well as equity-free funding support.
