innovative approach to fostering a more inclusive digital space, Ms. Adwoa
Wiafe disclosed that the app, which is equipped with cutting-edge features, is
set to benefit a wider audience, particularly the visually impaired, with a
pilot project focusing on visual impairment support.
The app also
includes advanced services such as lending, insurance, and payment solutions,
and aims to enhance cross-border engagements, marking the next level of MTN’s
digital expansion.
“MTN is
committed to creating an inclusive digital ecosystem that empowers every
Ghanaian, regardless of their circumstances, to participate in the digital

outlines the company’s long-term commitment to eco-responsibility, social
impact, economic growth, and ethical governance. The company’s flagship
sustainability initiative, Project Zero she pointed out focuses on
environmental responsibility by aiming to reduce MTN’s carbon footprint. "Going
green within the next five years is not just a target—it’s a promise,” Ms. Wiafe
stated.
The company’s
social impact strategy, she indicated also continues to be a priority, with a
focus on providing employment opportunities through its expansive agent
networks across the country, and by leveraging its broad reach, MTN seeks to
foster job creation and entrepreneurship, empowering communities to thrive in a
rapidly digitizing world.

digital transformation in Ghana and mentioned how innovation and technology are
key drivers of economic growth, enabling businesses and individuals to engage
more efficiently in the digital economy.
