Ibex
Technologies and Promotion PLC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
with the Federal Technical and Vocational Training Institute. The agreement
aims to enhance the skills of Ethiopia's youth and cultivate local talent by
creating opportunities for aspiring technologists.
Speaking during
the signing ceremony the Director General of the Federal Technical and
Vocational Training Institute, Dr. Biruk Kedir reflected on the collaborative
discussions leading up to the agreement and noted that the partnership is aimed
to drive meaningful change in Ethiopia’s technical and vocational education
landscape.
Dr. Biruk also expressed
the institute’s commitment to working with Ibex Technologies to create a
collaborative framework that benefits students and future professionals.
On his part, the
CEO of Ibex Technologies and Deputy CEO of Hex Labs, Ezedin Kamil described the
MoU as a crucial step toward realizing Ibex’s mission of empowering
technologists and leveraging local talent to spur innovation. Mr. Kamil praised
the institute’s dedication to this shared vision, noting that the collaboration
will focus on enhancing creative skills and technological capabilities.
He reaffirming

are equipped with the skills and knowledge to drive Ethiopia’s technological
progress.
