The
Egyptian African Telecommunications Training Center (EG-ATRC), a branch of the
National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA), has hosted a specialized training
program on radio spectrum management for mobile communications operators. The course, held in
collaboration with the International Mobile Network Association (GSMA), brought
together representatives from 22 organizations across nine countries.
Held
at the center's headquarters, the training aimed to strengthen participants'
expertise in managing radio spectrum—a critical resource for the growth and
efficiency of mobile communications worldwide. The course featured sessions
that explored advanced techniques for spectrum allocation, regulation, and
optimization, ensuring attendees were equipped to address the growing demands
of mobile networks in their respective regions.
The
event also drew notable international participation, including the presence of Mr. John Giusti, Chief Regulatory
Officer of GSMA. As a leading figure in global telecommunications regulation,
Mr. Giusti shared valuable insights on spectrum management strategies and the
role of international collaboration in fostering sustainable growth in mobile communication
infrastructure.
At
the conclusion of the program, he presented certificates of
completion to the participants, acknowledging their dedication to enhancing
their knowledge and expertise.
