In a
vibrant ceremony held at the historic Chellah site in Rabat, the Minister for Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Amal El
Fallah - Seghrouchni alongside several members of the Moroccan government,
cultural figures, and youth representatives, celebrated the nationwide
generalization of the “Pass Jeunes” service. The event, organized by the
Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, marked a pivotal moment in
Morocco’s commitment to empowering its youth.
“Pass
Jeunes” is an innovative, free mobile application designed to provide young
Moroccans aged 16 to 30 with exclusive access to discounts, free offers, and
other benefits across various sectors. From cultural and sporting activities to
transportation and accommodation, the app opens doors to a broad spectrum of
opportunities aimed at enriching the lives of Morocco’s youth.
The
ceremony featured artistic performances and engaging presentations that
showcased the diverse services available through the application. These
activities highlighted the government’s effort to ensure that young citizens
not only benefit from the platform but also feel connected to its mission of
fostering cultural engagement, active lifestyles, and economic inclusion.
Minister
El Fallah - Seghrouchni stressed the importance of such initiatives in creating
opportunities for young people, stating, “The generalization of ‘Pass
Jeunes’ reflects Morocco’s dedication to nurturing its future leaders and
ensuring that all young citizens have the tools and resources they need to
thrive.”
Initially
launched as a pilot, the success of “Pass Jeunes” has paved the way for its
national rollout. The application partners with various cultural institutions,
sports organizations, and service providers to ensure a comprehensive range of
offerings tailored to meet the needs and aspirations of Moroccan youth.
This
initiative is part of a broader strategy by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and
Communication to promote inclusivity, cultural access, and youth empowerment.
By making services more accessible, “Pass Jeunes” aims to bridge gaps in
opportunity and inspire young Moroccans to explore new horizons.
With
the nationwide availability of “Pass Jeunes,” Morocco reaffirms its commitment
to investing in its youth as a cornerstone for national development. The
application not only provides tangible benefits but also fosters a sense of
belonging and empowerment among young citizens, ensuring that they remain at
the heart of the country’s progress.
