Chaired by Maram Kaire, Director General of ASES, the workshop featured dynamic discussions on the role of satellite communication in bridging Africa's digital divide, enhancing connectivity, and creating opportunities for socio-economic transformation. Participants explored innovative solutions to address challenges in education, healthcare, and agriculture, emphasizing the importance of space-driven technologies in achieving sustainable development.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Kaire underscored the critical role of satellite communications in shaping Africa's future, calling for continued collaboration among stakeholders to unlock the full potential of space technology. He highlighted the alignment of ASES’s initiatives with national and continental development objectives, reinforcing Senegal's commitment to leading in Africa's technological advancement.

The workshop concluded with a collective pledge to deepen cooperation and expand the use of satellite technology for Africa’s growth.
