The Ministry of Technical
Education, Vocational Training, and Apprenticeship (METFPA) is set to play a
pivotal role in the upcoming International Exhibition of Artificial
Intelligence, Defense, and Space (SIADE), scheduled to take place on February
20 and 21, 2025, at the Abidjan Exhibition Center.
In preparation for this
landmark event, the Minister of Technical Education, Vocational Training, and
Apprenticeship, Mr. N'Guessan Koffi has met with Mr. Sylla Yaya, Chairman and
CEO of Sah Analytics, a leading Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity
company in Côte d’Ivoire. The discussion centered on the organization of SIADE
2025 and the potential involvement of METFPA in supporting and promoting the
event.
With the rapid evolution of artificial
intelligence (AI) and its integration across industries, The minister stressed
the critical need to equip young Ivorians with the necessary skills to remain
competitive in the global digital economy. During the meeting, he expressed his
enthusiasm for the exhibition, stating:
"We are a stakeholder
in this event. This show is welcome, especially since today we are only talking
about artificial intelligence. Our young people want to learn differently. We
must give them the chance to prevent us from falling behind the world."
SIADE 2025 aims to bring
together key stakeholders from the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Defense,
and Space Technologies, fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and
investment opportunities. By involving METFPA, the exhibition will highlight
the role of AI in vocational training, demonstrating how emerging technologies
can be leveraged to enhance technical education and workforce development in
Côte d’Ivoire.

METFPA’s participation, formally requested the Minister’s sponsorship and the
Ministry’s involvement in the exhibition. The he believes partnership will help
to connect students, educators, and industry experts while ensuring that AI-driven
educational tools and digital transformation strategies are integrated into
