Next Gen Infraco (NGIC), led by CEO Tenu Awoonor, has met with the Minister for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George to discuss the deployment of Ghana’s first open-access 4G and 5G wholesale network.

"Our open-access model is the future of connectivity in Africa," said Tenu Awoonor. "By avoiding redundant infrastructure, we make high-speed internet more accessible and affordable for all Ghanaians."

Hon. Samuel Nartey George praised NGIC’s alignment with Ghana’s Digital Economy Policy, stating: "This partnership ensures that no Ghanaian is left behind in the digital revolution."

Ghana is positioning itself as a West African tech hub, with NGIC’s model serving as a blueprint for other African nations. NGIC’s nationwide rollout is expected to accelerate in 2024, with full-scale 5G deployment enhancing Ghana’s global competitiveness.
