Global
technology brand HONOR has transformed the creative journey of emerging artist
Zilungile Hanise by surprising her with cutting-edge devices worth R30,000. The
gesture comes after her striking artwork "Imvelo (Heritage)" earned
the prestigious Judges' Choice Award in the HONOR Talents global
competition.

The company's
delegation traveled to the Eastern Cape to personally deliver a tech package
including an HONOR MagicBook laptop for digital art creation, an HONOR X9c
smartphone to replace her outdated device, and an HONOR Choice Watch. These
tools aim to bridge traditional artistry with digital innovation, empowering
Hanise to elevate her craft.
In an emotional
video message, the overwhelmed artist described how the equipment would
revolutionize her creative process. "This support opens new dimensions
for my work," Hanise shared, visibly moved by the unexpected
investment in her talent.

The handover
gained institutional recognition, with South Africa's Minister of
Communications and Digital Technologies sending special congratulations. The
Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality facilitated the event despite hosting
concurrent G20 Summit preparations, underscoring the significance of nurturing
homegrown creativity.
