Cameroon’s telecom giant MTN has officially unveiled its first experience center to serve customers better in Yaounde.

The new Touch Point located in the Yaounde Place Commercial Center of the Warda neighborhood will enhance the digital experience and quality of service offered to customers through several innovations.

With the provision of connected touch screens, self-service areas, virtual reality content, trials, and games, the newly launched experience center will also offer services such as subscriber identification, sale of SIM cards, migration to 4G and 4.5G technologies, activation of MTN Mobile Money accounts, cash-in, cash-out, MoMo transfer, sale of smartphones, tablets, modems, and other terminals.

Speaking at a brief ceremony, the outgoing CEO of MTN Cameroon, Stephen Blewett, said, “this new store concretizes our dual promise of proximity and memorable experience. Because we have to serve more than 10 million customers daily and ensure that each of these loyal subscribers has a unique experience commensurate with the truth they have placed on MTN Cameroon for more than 20 years now.”

In attendance at the event were the Governor of the Centre Region, Naseri Paul Bea, and the incoming Chief Executive Officer of MTN Cameroon, Mitwa Nga’mbi,
