Twitter has announced
that Android and iOS users can now record their Twitter Space broadcast
sessions.
The announcement, which
comes as good news to most Android users the world over, especially in Africa, will also allow
Twitter Space hosts to record their session and have the recorded session
stored for 30 days public playback after the space has ended.
According to Twitter,
participants in Twitter Space broadcast will see an icon at the top of the
Space, indicating that the session is being recorded.
In October last year,
Twitter introduced the recording of its Space broadcast, and access was granted
to a limited number of iOS users. The feature lets hosts record a Twitter Space
conversation and share the recording in a tweet.
