The Secretary‑General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Doreen Bogdan‑Martin has underscored the importance of translating artificial intelligence ambition into tangible benefits at the India AI Impact Summit 2026. The event, hosted in New Delhi, brings together technology leaders from across sectors to foster inclusive AI solutions that advance social, economic, and environmental progress.

Secretary-General Bogdan‑Martin stressed that global cooperation is essential to ensure the advantages of AI are equitably shared, preventing the widening of technological divides. She highlighted the ITU’s commitment to working with India and international partners to promote initiatives under the banner of #AIforGood, advancing accessible, responsible, and human-centered AI.
