Morocco and India discuss digital and AI cooperation at New Delhi Summit

Morocco and the Republic of India have explored opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation in digitalization and artificial intelligence during high-level talks held on the sidelines of the Artificial Intelligence Impact Summit in New Delhi.

Ms. Amal Al Falah Al-Sagroshani, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of Digital Transition and Governance Reform, met with Mr. Jiten Prasad, Minister of State and Minister of Commerce, Industry and Information Technology of the Republic of India.

The discussions took place in the presence of Morocco’s Ambassador to India, Mr. Mohammad Maliki.

According to the Moroccan Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, the meeting provided a platform for both parties to exchange views on enhancing collaboration and to examine avenues for developing current and future partnerships. The talks focused on advancing cooperation in digital transformation and AI-driven innovation.

Officials from both sides emphasized the importance of leveraging digital technologies to support innovation ecosystems and foster technological development, reflecting growing engagement between Morocco and India in emerging technology sectors.
