M-PESA Ethiopia Partners with beU delivery to enable seamless digital payments

M-PESA Ethiopia has announced a partnership with beU Delivery to provide secure and seamless digital payment options for food delivery across the beU ecosystem. The collaboration is now fully live, allowing customers to browse restaurants, place orders, and pay using M-PESA, either through the M-PESA Mini App or the beU Delivery mobile application.
The
partnership aims to streamline the checkout process by offering real-time
payment confirmation and instant order booking, eliminating the need for
cash-on-delivery and reducing friction for users.
Beyond
convenience, the initiative supports restaurants, delivery riders, and the
broader digital commerce landscape by promoting digital payment adoption and
improving transaction reliability.
This collaboration underscores the growing role of mobile money in Ethiopia’s digital economy, creating a faster, safer, and fully cashless experience for customers.
