The
MTN Congo Foundation has supported a conference in Brazzaville aimed at
promoting inclusive and transformative leadership among young Scout girls.
Held
under the theme “Dare to Lead Differently: Promoting Inclusive and
Transformative Women's Leadership,” the event brought together young
participants for discussions focused on strengthening female leadership and
encouraging confidence among girls.

Two
representatives from MTN Congo addressed the conference. Nora Magalie Mabiala
emphasized that female leadership should be viewed not as a demand but as a
powerful driver of societal transformation. Gabriella Mabika Kusma spoke about
the realities and challenges women face, including stereotypes and structural
obstacles, while outlining strategies for overcoming barriers and achieving
success without compromising personal identity.
The
conference sought to encourage young girls to take initiative and assert their
voices in leadership spaces. Organizers highlighted the importance of
empowering girls early, noting that supporting young women today contributes to
long-term generational change.

The
MTN Congo Foundation said its involvement reflects its commitment to advancing
gender inclusion and supporting initiatives that foster leadership development
among young people.
