Guinea
has marked its presence at MWC Barcelona 2026 with a series of strategic
engagements aimed at positioning the country as an active player in Africa’s
digital transformation.
On
the opening day of the conference, the Guinean delegation held high-level
meetings and bilateral discussions while promoting the country’s digital
ecosystem at its exhibition stand. The participation reflects a clear and
ambitious vision to strengthen Guinea’s role in the continent’s evolving
digital economy.

Representatives
highlighted the government’s commitment to advancing digital infrastructure,
fostering innovation and building strategic partnerships to accelerate national
development through technology.

Barcelona 2026 has brought together global industry leaders, policymakers and
technology stakeholders, providing Guinea with a platform to showcase its
digital priorities and investment opportunities.
Officials
described the country’s participation as the launch of a renewed drive to
ensure Guinea plays a full and active role in Africa’s digital transformation
agenda.
