MTN Zambia and Zanaco launch integrated MoMo payments and ATM cash

Zambia Mobile Money and Zambia National Commercial Bank (Zanaco) PLC have
launched a new partnership enabling MoMo payments on Zanaco point-of-sale (POS)
machines and MoMo cash withdrawals at Zanaco automated teller machines (ATMs).
The integration allows customers to pay for goods and
services directly from their MTN MoMo wallets using Zanaco POS terminals. In
addition, users can withdraw cash from their MoMo wallets at Zanaco ATMs
through the New MoMo app.
The collaboration is designed to strengthen the
connection between mobile money and traditional banking services, offering
customers expanded access points and greater flexibility in managing their
funds.
Officials
said the initiative enhances financial convenience and supports the broader
adoption of digital payments across Zambia by bridging mobile financial
services with established banking infrastructure.
