Nigeria’s fintech subsidiary, Smartcash PSB, has officially launched its new
campaign, “No Be Cho Cho Cho,” at a media event held at the Lagos Continental
Hotel. The campaign introduces the platform’s proof-led approach to financial
services, aiming to make banking accessible, affordable, and practical for
everyday users.
Smartcash
CEO, Tunde Kuponiyi emphasized that financial inclusion is the company’s core
mission, noting that the campaign slogan reflects its focus on delivering
tangible value to customers rather than empty promises. Key features of the
platform include zero charges on all transactions, cashback rewards on bill
payments, and a 15% per annum interest on savings, compounded daily.

The
launch featured the screening of three newly released TV commercials that
illustrated the campaign’s message through relatable everyday scenarios. The
event also provided a platform for dialogue with the press, allowing the
Smartcash team to clarify the long-term strategy and commitment to the
zero-charge model, which Kuponiyi confirmed is a permanent feature rather than
a limited-time promotion.
Smartcash
PSB positions itself as a practical solution to common banking challenges,
signaling a shift in the fintech landscape toward evidence-based financial
inclusion.
