The
South African National Space Agency (SANSA) has welcomed Fabio Mando, Chief
Operating Officer of Eutelsat, earlier this week for a site visit focused on
the agency’s hosting and operation of Eutelsat’s OneWeb antennas.
Mando,
accompanied by Chris de Beer, Eutelsat’s Site Manager for Africa, toured the
SANSA facilities, gaining firsthand insight into operational processes and
infrastructure management. The visit also served as a platform for discussions
on ongoing collaboration and performance optimization between the two
organisations.
Both
parties reaffirmed the strength of their partnership, highlighting satisfaction
with the quality of services provided and underscoring a shared commitment to
continued cooperation in satellite operations and space-based services.
The
engagement reflects SANSA’s focus on fostering strategic partnerships to
enhance South Africa’s space capabilities.
