Irembo has participated in
the Rwanda–Botswana Business Forum held as part of the Rwandan delegation’s
state visit to Botswana, with discussions focusing on digital governance,
sovereign infrastructure and citizen-centred public service delivery.
The company’s Chief
Executive Officer, Israel Bimpe, joined engagements involving the Botswana
Investment and Trade Centre, government officials and private sector
stakeholders to explore opportunities for collaboration in digital
transformation.

According to Irembo, the
discussions centred on how African governments can build digital systems that
effectively serve citizens while remaining rooted in local institutions and
infrastructure.
Participants also examined
the importance of coherent service delivery models, sovereign digital
infrastructure and stronger pan-African partnerships in advancing public sector
innovation and digital inclusion across the continent.

The engagements reflected
growing interest among African governments in leveraging technology,
operational systems and institutional collaboration to improve the
accessibility and efficiency of public services.
Irembo said the exchanges
underscored a shared commitment to building citizen-focused digital ecosystems
that support broader economic and social development objectives across Africa.
