Ministry of ICT - Eswatini
has held discussions with Leigh Gunkel-Keuler, DHL Africa Director of Corporate
Governance Affairs for the Africa Regio as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration
and explore new partnership opportunities in the Kingdom.
The engagement, hosted by
the ICT Ministry, focused on expanding existing cooperation and identifying new
areas of collaboration aligned with Eswatini’s national development priorities.

According to the Ministry,
discussions highlighted the role of DHL in supporting trade, logistics and
connectivity within Eswatini, while also exploring opportunities to deepen
cooperation in areas linked to economic growth and digital transformation.
As part of the visit, the
DHL delegation toured several institutions involved in the country’s
communications, innovation and technology ecosystem, including the Royal
Science and Technology Park, Eswatini Communications Commission and Eswatini
Posts and Telecommunications Corporation.
The delegation also visited
King Mswati III International Airport and Matsapha Airport as part of
engagements aimed at assessing infrastructure supporting logistics and
connectivity in the country.

Additional meetings were
held with the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority and Business Eswatini to
discuss investment opportunities, collaboration and strategies to support
economic development.
The engagements form part of
broader efforts by Eswatini to strengthen partnerships with international
stakeholders in advancing trade, innovation and digital transformation
initiatives.
