Côte d’Ivoire explores digital transformation partnership with UNOPS

The Ministry of Digital Transition and Technological Innovation has held discussions with a delegation from United Nations Office for Project Services aimed at strengthening cooperation on digital transformation and public sector modernization initiatives in Côte d’Ivoire.

The meeting brought together the Minister of Digital Transition and Technological Innovation, Djibril Ouattara, and the UNOPS delegation led by Silvia Gallo.

Discussions focused on potential areas of collaboration, including support for development projects, the digitalization of public services and the modernization of government administration systems.

According to the Ministry, the discussions also highlighted UNOPS’ expertise in project management and procurement as part of efforts to support the implementation of national development priorities.

Minister Ouattara reiterated Côte d’Ivoire’s commitment to advancing digital transformation and emphasized the need for practical and effective solutions tailored to the country’s realities and development objectives.

Both parties agreed to continue engagements to identify concrete areas of cooperation that could support the country’s digital transition agenda and broader socio-economic development efforts.
