The Africa CEO Forum 2026
has announced the winners of the ACF Awards 2026, recognising African companies
and business leaders driving innovation, industrial growth and economic
transformation across the continent.
Six awards were presented
during the forum to organisations and executives recognised for their impact in
sectors including fintech, manufacturing, mobility, banking and digital
infrastructure.
The Disrupter of the Year
award was presented to Cauridor, a fintech company established in 2022 that
focuses on improving cross-border payment systems across Francophone Africa
through an integrated remittance and cash agent network.
The Family Business award
went to East African Holding, an Ethiopian conglomerate with operations
spanning fast-moving consumer goods, agro-processing, cement and mining.
Spiro received the Local
Impact Champion award for its electric mobility operations, which include
thousands of electric motorbikes and battery-swapping stations operating across
multiple African countries.
The Gender Leader award was
presented to Ecobank Group in recognition of initiatives aimed at advancing
women’s economic empowerment, including its Ellevate programme and
gender-focused financial products.
The Pan-African Champion
award was awarded to Cassava Technologies for its investment in artificial
intelligence infrastructure and digital connectivity projects across major
African cities.
The CEO of the Year award
was presented to Abdul Samad Rabiu, founder and chairman of BUA Group, in
recognition of his contributions to Nigeria’s industrial and manufacturing
sector.
Organisers of the Africa CEO
Forum stated that the awards reflect the growing role of African entrepreneurs,
innovators and enterprises in shaping the continent’s economic future through
large-scale investment, regional integration and innovation-driven growth.
