Lesotho has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting sustainable energy
development and digital transformation as a sponsor of the Lesotho Energy
Access Dialogue (LEAD) 2026.
Through
its Vodacom Business division, the company highlighted its role as a strategic
partner in advancing connectivity and sustainability in Lesotho, emphasizing
continued investment in solar infrastructure, energy-efficient operations, and
community-focused clean energy initiatives.

The
dialogue, held at the ‘Manthabiseng Convention Centre under the theme “Moving
from Commitments to Action,” brought together policymakers, private sector
stakeholders, and innovation leaders to address infrastructure challenges and
identify practical solutions for improving energy access and reliability.
Vodacom
Business stated that its participation reflects a broader commitment to
purposeful innovation aimed at strengthening both digital and energy resilience
in support of national development goals.

The
company further emphasized the importance of coordinated action between
government and industry stakeholders in scaling sustainable energy solutions
and advancing Lesotho’s green development ambitions.
Organizers
noted that the dialogue focused on translating policy commitments into

growth across the country.
