Yas
Tanzania has officially launched its new business-focused digital offering, Yas
Business, in a move aimed at expanding digital solutions for enterprises and
supporting business growth across the country.
The
launch event was attended by government and industry stakeholders and was
graced by Prof. Kitila Mkumbo, Minister of State in the President’s Office for
Investment, who served as Guest of Honour.
The
initiative was unveiled by senior leadership from Yas Tanzania, including Chief
Executive Officer Pierre Canton-Bacara, Chief Business Officer Norman Kiondo,
CTIO Emmanuel Mallya, and Stellarix Chief Executive Officer Abdul-Rahman Ahmed.

Speaking
at the event, company leaders emphasized that Yas Business is designed to
provide tailored digital solutions that enable enterprises to improve
efficiency, scale operations and access new opportunities within Tanzania’s
growing digital economy.
The
launch brought together business leaders and partners, reflecting growing
collaboration between the private sector and government in advancing digital
transformation and investment in the country.
Yas
Tanzania stated that the new platform forms part of its broader strategy to
support innovation and deliver enhanced digital services, with a focus on
empowering businesses to “unlock more” through technology-driven solutions.
The
company added that it remains committed to developing infrastructure and
services that contribute to sustainable economic growth and strengthen
Tanzania’s position in the regional digital economy.
