The
Kenya Space Agency has held discussions with the Republic of Kazakhstan aimed
at strengthening cooperation in space science, technology, and innovation.
The
engagement took place on the sidelines of the Global Data Festival and Kenya
Space Expo and Conference 2026, where the Director General of the Kenya Space
Agency, Brig. Hillary Kipkosgey, met the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kenya,
H.E. Barlybay Sadykov, and his delegation.
According
to the Agency, the discussions focused on expanding international partnerships
to enhance space capabilities, promote knowledge exchange, and support
innovation for sustainable development.
Both
sides emphasized the importance of collaboration in advancing space-related
initiatives that can contribute to scientific growth and broader socio-economic
development.
