MTN Cameroon’s fintech
subsidiary Mobile Money Corporation (MMC) has been granted a Payment Service
Provider License. This according to officials will enable a much broader
service offering by MMC.
Announcing the new feat,
the Chief Executive Officer of MTN Cameroon, Mitwa Kaemba Ng’ambi said the
license will allow Mobile Money Corporation to offer even more diverse fintech
services to customers.
“When
we established our fintech subsidiary, the Mobile Money Corporation (MMC) our
dream was to build a MoMo ecosystem accessible to all. Today we are proud to
announce that MMC has been granted its own Payment Service Provider License,
allowing it to offer even more diverse services. We thank all stakeholders for their
support and belief in MMC to drive the financial inclusion agenda of Cameroon," she said.
Alain Nono, Chief
Executive Officer of Mobile Money Corporation is confident that with the
license, more than 5 million customers who transact every month can look
forward to a wider range of innovative and affordable fintech services.

excited to have been granted a Payment Service Provider License. With this
