Orange Burkina Faso has
strengthened its commitment to youth development and professional integration
by hosting an employability masterclass for students of the International
Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering (2iE).
The session, organised by
the Human Resources Department of Orange Burkina Faso following an invitation
from 2iE, focused on equipping students with insights into career
opportunities, workplace expectations, and pathways available within the
telecommunications sector.
During the engagement,
students were introduced to the various professions within Orange Burkina Faso,
potential career trajectories, and opportunities available for young graduates
seeking to build careers in the digital and technology ecosystem.
The masterclass also
featured experiences from former 2iE students who have transitioned into roles
at Orange Burkina Faso, offering participants practical perspectives on
navigating the professional landscape and building successful careers.
Orange Burkina Faso said the
initiative reflects its commitment to nurturing local talent, supporting young
people in their transition from academia to the workplace, and strengthening
collaboration between educational institutions and industry.
Through programmes that
promote skills development and knowledge sharing, the company continues to
contribute to the growth of Burkina Faso’s digital ecosystem while creating
opportunities for the next generation of professionals.
