Morocco and France have
reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation in artificial
intelligence, digital innovation and technology-driven transformation during
the 15th Morocco-France High-Level Meeting.
The discussions brought
together senior government officials, including Morocco’s Head of Government,
Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, and French Prime Minister Mr. Sébastien Lecornu, alongside
ministerial counterparts from both countries.
Morocco’s Minister Delegate
in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Amal El
Fallah-Seghrouchni, and France’s Minister Delegate for Artificial Intelligence
and Digital Affairs, Anne Le Hénanff, presented the outcomes of bilateral
discussions focused on strengthening collaboration in research and innovation,
developing digital skills, supporting startups and accelerating the adoption of
artificial intelligence across public services and economic sectors.
The partnership will also
focus on emerging priorities including AI governance, digital infrastructure,
cloud technologies and digital sovereignty as both countries seek to build
resilient and trusted digital ecosystems.
The two sides highlighted
the importance of cooperation in creating opportunities for innovation while
ensuring that technological development remains aligned with responsible and
inclusive digital transformation goals.
