Innovation hubs, ecosystem
partners and technology stakeholders from across Ghana have gathered in Kumasi
for the Ghana Hubs Summit 2026 to discuss strategies for strengthening the
country’s innovation ecosystem.
Hosted by HapaSpace, the
two-day summit provided a platform for hub leaders, entrepreneurs, ecosystem
builders and partners to exchange ideas, build collaborations and explore
opportunities to advance innovation-driven development in Ghana.
The event featured
presentations, panel discussions and breakout sessions focused on key areas
shaping the future of Ghana’s technology ecosystem, including responsible
artificial intelligence, green jobs, sustainable enterprises and support
mechanisms for innovation hubs.
Participants discussed the
role of innovation hubs in supporting entrepreneurship, developing digital
talent and creating pathways for startups and technology-driven businesses to
scale.
The summit also featured
elections for the Ghana Hubs Network, with Yaw Adu-Gyamfi re-elected as
Chairperson for a second term.
HapaSpace congratulated
Adu-Gyamfi and other elected members of the Ghana Hubs Network leadership,
expressing its commitment to supporting the network’s efforts to strengthen
collaboration among innovation hubs and advance Ghana’s startup ecosystem.
During the summit, HapaSpace
also introduced Worqbe, a software solution designed to help organisations
improve workplace management and operational efficiency. The platform is
expected to be officially launched soon.
The organisers said the
introduction of Worqbe reflects the growing role of locally developed digital
solutions in addressing organisational challenges and improving productivity.
HapaSpace expressed
appreciation to the Ghana Hubs Network, partners, speakers, hub leaders and
participants whose contributions supported the success of the 2026 summit.
