Togo AI Lab has participated
in a major career guidance and educational orientation session aimed at
introducing young Togolese to emerging career opportunities and promoting
responsible use of digital technologies.
The event, titled “Cap sur
les métiers de demain : Concours, filières et parcours d’avenir” (Towards the
professions of tomorrow: competitions, fields of study and future pathways),
was organised by the Togolese Chapter of the Internet Society (ISOC Togo) at
the Auditorium of the University of Lomé.
During the session, Togo AI
Lab contributed to a panel discussion on “Safe and Responsible Internet,”
alongside the National Cybersecurity Agency of Togo and IPDCP Togo, focusing on
the growing importance of trust, security, and responsibility in the use of
artificial intelligence.
Discussions centred on how
individuals and organisations can adopt artificial intelligence responsibly,
while addressing questions around confidence in AI systems, ethical
considerations, and the need for greater awareness as AI technologies become
increasingly integrated into daily life.
The engagement provided an
opportunity for young people to interact with technology experts and gain
insights into the evolving digital landscape, including future career pathways
linked to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital innovation.
Togo AI Lab said its
participation aligns with its mission of supporting an inclusive and
responsible digital transformation in Togo by promoting knowledge sharing,
innovation, and awareness around emerging technologies.
