Ethiopost
has commenced its FY2018 Annual Performance Review and strategic planning
session as it evaluates the implementation of its three-year "Deepen and
Diversified" strategy and prepares to roll out a new strategic plan aimed
at accelerating the organization's transformation.
The
review session, taking place at the Africa Leadership Excellence Academy, has
brought together the postal operator's executive leadership to assess
institutional performance during the fiscal year and examine the newly
developed three-year strategic roadmap.
During
the meeting, executives are presenting achievements recorded across Ethiopost's
strategic priority areas while reviewing the implementation of the outgoing
strategy. Discussions are focused on identifying key accomplishments,
challenges, opportunities and lessons learned to support the successful
execution of the new plan.
Speaking
at the opening of the session, Ethiopost Chief Executive Officer Dagmawi
Haileye said the organization had made significant progress under the previous
strategy and noted that the new plan introduces bold priorities and innovative
approaches designed to drive the institution's next phase of growth. He urged
the leadership team to fully understand the strategy and demonstrate strong
commitment to its implementation.
The
CEO's Office Advisor, Dr. Hailemichael Mule, presented the new three-year
strategic plan, outlining its six strategic pillars, which were subsequently
discussed by participants during the planning session.
According
to Ethiopost, the new strategy is expected to strengthen service excellence,
accelerate digital transformation and align the institution around a shared
vision for the next three years. The organization said the plan reaffirms its
commitment to delivering faster, smarter and more customer-centric postal and
logistics services across Ethiopia.
