Kenya and Kuwait are exploring opportunities to strengthen cooperation in digital transformation, technology, and skills development as part of efforts to deepen bilateral relations between the two countries.

Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications and the Digital Economy, H.E. William Kabogo Gitau, held discussions with the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Kenya, Amb. Anas Talib Ali Marafi, during a courtesy meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the two nations.

The discussions centred on Kenya’s digital transformation agenda, particularly ongoing efforts to accelerate the digitalisation of government services and improve access to technology-driven solutions.

Kabogo welcomed Kuwait’s continued support for Kenya and highlighted the importance of expanding cooperation in areas such as technology, capacity building, and skills development.

The engagement forms part of Kenya’s broader efforts to build strategic international partnerships that support innovation, digital public services, and the growth of the country’s digital economy.

Both sides expressed readiness to explore further areas of collaboration that can contribute to shared development goals and strengthen the longstanding relationship between Kenya and Kuwait.
